* About This Map *
================================================================
This map is the culmination of over twenty-five hours work on my end and more than a few by Evil Napkin. It features a bit of utility scripting, and also five custom interiors. The crown jewel of the map is the abandoned Blood Eagle church found in between the two bases. It is made up of nearly 1000 polys, which is no mean feat using WorldCraft. Of the twenty-eight hours of build time, it took a sizeable fraction of that to get it just right.

The flagstand was built for the map and is directly inspired by the one found on (Os)Iris. The base was built to match the look of the base from Midnight Mayhem Deluxe, since Evil Napkin was using that particular little interior for the original build of this map. However, I did change it up a bit and focused the traffic upwards. I am aware that "light cracks" are all over it, but they refuse to go away. And yes, before you ask, the base structures ARE intentionally poorly lit. If it bothers you, up the gamma.

The two newest structures (added at the behest of Ekos) are a bunker 255m away from each of the flagstands and also a turret stand to go with the "ice" motif for the Blood Eagle texture set. You know you've been doing this way too long when you can guess what size a large turret is and get it right on the first try.

The flag-to-flag distance is about 870m, but from the bases its about 750m. The bulk of the organics were placed randomly by the editor. Power system is a normal, boring single-grid style. Best cap during my testing stands at 22 seconds. Have some help coming home. ;)

This map's final version should be released in May 5 2004. The full (xC) pack will be released before the end of June, God willing. The C doesn't stand for what you think it does. I'm not THAT stuck on myself.

Please refer all feedback to gcb2@pitt.edu.
